yogapower offers heated power yoga classes in two beautiful spacious studios. Please see our schedule page for class offerings at each location. Classes are designed to be comfortable for beginners yet challenging for even the most advanced practitioner.

Waltham

The 1,100 square foot studio is heated to a comfortable ninety degrees to facilitate opening while producing a detoxifying sweat. Original true hardwood floors and soaring ceilings set the environment for a comfortable and rewarding practice. The studio is conveniently located on Main Street in Waltham just 2 blocks west of Moody Street. Ample free parking is available to the side and back of the building.




Boston

Located at 133 Pearl Street, 2nd Floor, (Post Office Square / Financial District) in Boston, our newest studio wil celebrate its grand opening on Wednesday May 21, 2008. All classes are open to all levels. For your convenience, there are showers and changing rooms available for men and women. The studio offers our sanitized mats and towels for rent and features a great assortment of merchandise as well.



Class Overview

yogapower classes take students through a specially designed and different creative flow in each class. Students are instructed to find their practice within every pose, taking it to their own most challenging level. yogapower has based its philosophy on the benefits obtained from the physical practice of yoga. While derived from ancient yoga practices, yogapower does not adhere to any particular religion, philosophy, or type of meditation. Aside from developing a sharp mental focus and strong relaxation, we find that our students determine spiritual benefits for themselves.

yogapower teachers are all highly experienced and trained in various styles of yoga to offer the best of all worlds. Each teacher is encouraged to bring their own styles and personalities to their classes to offer students variety and a well rounded practice.

The yogapower retail boutique offers everything needed for practice. Each product carried has been carefully identified and tested as the best available. Terrific items to ‘make your practice’ such as the natural rubber PVC-free Harmony mat, yogitoes towels, be present pants and tanks as well as a selection of lululemon and Hard Tail clothing are all carried and available through special order.
