Katie found yoga about 7 years ago after a long time of running and spending hours at the gym. Yoga, at first, was just a way to de-stress, try something new, and get in a good sweat. But it quickly turned into a daily practice that was much more. She realized that her practice was not only helping her find some clarity, but also aided in her running and other sports that she played. Katie became a 200 hour certified power yoga teacher in 2008, and has been teaching for almost 3 years. She enjoys teaching to students of all levels and watching them grow with time spent on their mats. |
